We have built our practice by serving the needs of existing clients and by developing special expertise in certain focused areas. Mr. McKiernan is a formidable trial attorney with expertise in personal injury, medical malpractice, and business litigation. This has led to expertise in advising business clients on how to avoid legal problems.
The firm was founded as a trial boutique. Our founder, Dan McKiernan, had an extensive career in private trial practice representing primarily insurance companies. This gained him considerable courtroom and trial experience. It gave him focused experience in the areas of medical malpractice, car accidents and insurance coverage. It also provided an insider’s view of the insurance claims industry.
Eventually, Mr. McKiernan began to move away from the insurance industry. He took his deep knowledge and began to apply it on behalf of injured persons and a variety of other businesses, such as car dealers, contractors, developers, commercial landlords, pub and restaurant owners, professional practices, retail establishments and other types of small businesses. A number of Mr. McKiernan’s former clients flocked to the new firm upon its opening.
